went to beaver after a great day on Sunday with my new fishing partner Tim, Had caught a lot of nice sized perch and some wholesome pumkinseed. needed to get away from the house and brought my net but no stringer. Intended to catch a trophy but not keep anything under 3-4 lbs due to the smoker being activated for labor day. well caught only a few perch in the same spot that me and Tim fished when I got a notion to throw a worm at the tip of the dock to see if i could catch a biggg! Bass! My line took off and then stopped, I pulled medium strength because I thought it was a perch. All of a sudden drag indicator started whining and I said Big Bass! but then i saw a red flash and to my dismay it was a 5 lb rainbow!! this spot is un touched because I threw 2 more worms with the same result, a 18 incher and a 20 incher. I only kept one for the smoker and those of you who saw me bring it to the bank are still hanging your jaw bones, It was better than catching a salmon on sammamish this day. I will definitely be back this weekend for more action. this lake produces big fish but you have to be a detective to figure it out. 4 weeks ago I hooked to 6 lb plus back to back and now this. For those of you who think beaver is not so happening, (THINK AGAIN!) PEACE OUT ZULUMAN89.
