Went fishing just after 6:00 am with my Dad and Nephew. It was their first time on the lake and first time bass fishing. Everyone caught at least a few fish, the best ones coming from 14-20'. After telling them where they should throw their lures and both of them coming up empty I threw mine in the same spot and landed a nice 21 incher just shy of 3 lbs (see photos). I felt bad catching the best fish, but it has been a while since I have been fishing and even longer since I have caught a quality fish. 2000Subaru was out there fishing solo and I also ran into my brother-in-law out on the lake and my father-in-law at the launch. It was like a family reunion! Water temps were running mid to upper 70's and the north half of the lake is the clearest I have ever seen it.
