sorry I wish I could help, but a couple of weeks ago there were some pretty nice sized smallies coming out of coloun I even saw a nice sized large mouth come out of the canoe launch area, to me it looked like it weighed about 3 pounds.

COLOUN OFFICIALLY GOES ON MY -"NOT TO FISH AREA OF LAKE WASHINGTON". I have been there a hand full of times and only have managed about 4 fish. I use drop shot, spinner bait, senko's, and crank baits. Not even a bite..I went yesterday and it bummed me out..I'm officially retired from Coloun, unless I read reports of someone having great success.

I hooked into a nice 4 pounder last week on jig and pig lost him only fish I hooked. There lot of pressure bait and lure fisherman. I hate it when it gets pressured you still able to manage a few lunkers but there here and there I got a good spot on lake WA for Smallies I fish but even that spot has gotten beatin pretty hard. Its a steep drop off and man Its flusterating biggest I caught there this year is only 3 pounds true i did get a two 3 pounders that day there no post of pic secret finesse spot well known though fishing spot but full of huge bass at times lots of bait there squawfish and tons of perch come in there a few largies too.Its the only spot I fish that I catch lunkers or close to it every time But its kind of crappy right now but havent checked it in few days its deep water bites lot of slack line bites and fish that feel small but end up huge get fun guessing if dink or not. Think its something to do with the late warm up we had this year and a combo of fishing pressure. Biggest I got there was about 6 pounds and couple around six this year not so good. Mostly dinks and occasional 3 pounder. Yeah I been ghost from Coluon thinking salmon now :p still got the itch for bass fish kind of spread out and all.
