7-27-08 at 10:00-11:00 on Lake Washington. Weather was very overcast and became windy. Came from the montlake cut channel. Started trolling just past the green buoy at the drop off at the north side of 520 at the west end. Was planning on trolling the bridge for some cutts. Was using a 4" army truck coyote spoon with a hotspot matching flasher. Put down to 70' deep. Had a hookup in 60 seconds. Not sure if I got it on the way down or not. Was just there after I got my gear set. Pulled in this nice rainbow, 19 inches and fat!. Then trolled the length of the bridge on the north side two times. Got one more takedown with no hookup. Then fished for 3 more hours with no luck. I have fished this lake several times for trout, sockeye. The rainbows and cutthroat seem to be tricky to catch here. Maybe its just me.
Will keep trying and posting my findings here. Thanks for all the good reports and tips here!
