What a beautiful lake! Looked for crappie, didn't hook a one. Caught eight walleye, all of them 13.5 and 14 inches, don't know if they were planted or what but they were all the same size. No keepers. Caught a bunch of small perch and small bass. Fished around sunken island, island, mouth of Potholes canal and where the canal exited the lake. Enough action to keep busy, but everything was small. At dusk, caught a nice bluegill, off the submerged island, but couldn't find anymore. Used charcoal grub most of the day, seemed to like that the most, but also used bottom walkers, minijigs and soaking a night crawler and a bobber. Nothing worth keeping, went home empty handed. Will scratch this lake off my list for the year. Will have to take a bag of walleye out of the freezer, and try again next weekend. Not very many fisherman, but a lot of boaters. Impressed by the upkeep of the park and shorelines. Nice lake!!

Really, I heard that it was still 16". Kind of hard to keep them at that size anyway. Starting to hammer them at Paterson and Glade creek on the Columbia. Running about 5- 6lbs. Don't even see a 16" down there. Worth the drive.
