6/30/2008 12:04:00 PMI've fished there a few times this year and last. I've caught small-sm bass, bullhead catfish, & bluegill. I haven't seen anything else in there. I can believe there could be carp, though in all the times I have been there I have watched for signs of them and not seen any. Do you have any pictures of these mystery trout?

6/30/2008 1:06:00 PMAlright!! Lets hear it for da BOG. You probably saw my report from last week on Ronald Bog. I am happy to hear that you caught at least something from the salmanoid group. You didn't say what size it was, and your friend's fish. I will def. head back out there this week. Thanks for the report. And I know what you mean about the creek, it looks a bit trecherous.

6/30/2008 2:22:00 PMThere are actually a few really nice large mouth in here too. Haven't caught a smallie yet. The mystery salmonid went six and eight inches. He caught his on a worm and i caught mine on a fly. Both at the crack of dawn. I'm thinking of trying for some cats tonight from the park. I sure do miss having good channel cat fishing close. I grew up in New Mexico and have fond memories of 30lb channels. Other than SE Washington, are there any good places to go for cat in the Seattle area? I've done ok in the Husky Stadium area of Lake Washington but haven't found a great place for size or numbers. Any ideas?

6/30/2008 5:37:00 PMsince the bog and the creek are connected to lake Washington ,and small native cutthroat trout have been present in this area for many years. I'm putting my money on the wild elusive cutthroat. they love worms and flies so that could be why you;re catching fish.

7/1/2008 3:18:00 PMI spent all spring catching cutties from Lake Wash. Not a cuttie. Parr markings but no spots. Very wierd.
