We had another successful outing, using The Doghouse as our boat.
We had a fun time catching not only our limits in trout (and one fish, to be mentioned below). A poor crawdad could not get himself to let go of my nephew's hook--- and was hoisted from the water looking rather foolish.
The fish in question: 10" fish with bluish blots on its side, otherwise trout-appearing. It had pinkish flesh (and was good eating!!). I thought it had coho salmon coloring, but wouldn't Williams Lake be a little task for a salmon to migrate to?
Sorry--- no photo as we just don't think to throw a camera into our tackle box...
Anyway, we had a ball trolling the entire length of the lake, catching fish and sharing memories of fishing times past.
Returned to the launch to see a dock being readied to place at some lucky lake resident's waterfront.
Thanks for the fishing, WDFW.
