Fished this morning on mercer island today not my usual haunt but gave it a try ended up seeing the most interesting thing a bass that was about pound if that nesting about a foot or to from where people walk on park path he just sat there and sat there. Decided to throw a tube at him took three cast to convince him that . That tube texas style didn't belong in his zone. First cast he actually picked it up and moved it about a foot and spit it out of the nest area fish was caught and released believe some one else may have also released this fish he is right out in the open gin clear water on a hard bottom. I then took a few more cast left the bedded bass alone didn't get nothing. Decided to walk near the docks and try to bring my tube down the side of the dock toward me on shore. About half way in felt something weird set the hook and line took off ended up with a bass probably 3 pound or so much larger than the first was pleased with my day took a couple more cast on the other side of the dock missed a fish looked to be about a pound decided I will try again in a few days let them rest. All bass released

Hey sup man yeah I think I am getting used to artificials now still missing some good fish though havent developed the feel totally kind of flusterating sometimes when I see the fish with the lure in his mouth then spit right when i set the hook end up pulling the lure away from him. fish swims off and all.
