My dad and I got to the lake around 8:00. I have never fished her
before so I had no idea what it would be like. We got in our rental row boat
and set out for the center of the lake. There we dropped anchor. The winds
were 5-10 and sometimes about 15 mph. we fished for about an hour with no
luck and then bam!!! at about 9:15 my dad hooked in a big one. Of course I
forgot the net so we had a hard time boating it but we did it. It was a nice
15 inch brook. Then things really started to pick up. by the time we left at
about 1:30 we had our limit which ranged from 9 to 17 inches and fat. They
really seemed to bite when the wind was strong. The key is to use a green
wedding ring with a worm and cast out and real in. I would advise anyone who
wants to get a lot of fish and have a good time go to jump-off.
