I arrived and was on the water by 8:15 am. I fished the same spot in the middle, in front of the entrance to the camp ground, used the same Dick Nice frog / pearl spoon I always use at this lake. Had bites about every 5 to 10 minutes but the fish were just mouthing it so it was difficult to hook them. I did catch a limit, and had 2 others on that spit the hook before getting to the boat. Very nice day on the lake. A little breezy at times but overall a great day and very good fishing. I fished 3 hours to get the five for the table. All were plants. Water was 62.2 deg F.

I forgot to mention I also trolled a fly (olive woolly bugger) for the first 45 minutes. Lots of bites but was unable to hook them. Then I switched to the Dick Nite. Pic 2 is my fly rod while trolling on the lake. Sorry for the spelling error as well. I meant Dick Nite, not Dick Nice.
