Headed out to Lk Joy after getting blanked out at Cottage in the morning. Ended up catching 3 SMB and 3 LMB. 3 came on the D-Shot Roboworm in Oxblood, 2 on a Crawdad Crank and 1 on a Shad Senko T-Rigged. Great lake for numbers and I'm glad I redeemed myself from the skunk earlier in the day. Nothing of any size but the Smallies put up a great fight. Biggest was one of the Largemouths that went 2.3lbs. I really enjoyed my first time fishing this lake and can see the potential of this lake to produce good fish. The wind picked up a little and it was hard to position myself in the float tube but I still managed a couple. All the bass came off structure such as docks, laydowns and pilings. The water was very warm and my temp gauge read 67 as the surface temp. I did see fish on beds and did notice a couple of empty ones. I will be back out someday to lock down a large one in the future. Hope to see you on the water.
