Got out to Pine this morning early around 7am. I was supposed to meet a buddy down there but he didn't make it. Started trolling right as I left the boat launch and before I got out 100 yards I hooked into a really nice rainbow pushing 5.5 lbs. It was slow for about the next 45 min. then I started hitting them left and right at the other end of the lake. I caught many before the morning was over released them all but the big one. Having him for dinner.

That is a BIG rainbow for Pine Lake...must be a 4-6 year old holdover?! Wow...good work there and nice report!

Ya, I have caught two by using a perch plug and trolling slow near the banks on the north side

thats the kind of fish I've been looking for. The planters are fun, but I'm not taking anything out of the lake unless it looks like that. Good job
