OHHHH! So close,sooooo close. I took my son and nephew to a spot where I've had previous success. I started tossing several different colors of bucktails with no luck. I then switched to my wooden pikie on a fast and stop retrieve. That got some attention. A tiger around 38-40 came at it very aggressive."At this point I was shaking,I wanted him"
I thought he had the lure and got anxious,tried to set the hook and MISSED. I had several follows in an hour of time and saw at least 3 differant muskies.
I would usually whine here, But I have to feel pretty good. I was able to get and keep their attention and most of all my son and nephew got to see a few tigers up VERY CLOSE. I would have gotten some great photos of the muskies in the water but go figure....I was trying to hard to catch one.
