Fished this lake today, first time I've been here in about mmmmmmmmm 20 years at least. Lake has changed a lot, Fishing was very slow, not much action going on, the flood may have done a lot of damage here since it is right next to the river. I tried plastics, plugs, even jigs, only had 3 hits and caught one. at least I got my first fish of the season just under 2lbs. Now I remember why I quit fishing here. going again tomorrow somewhere else.

Any lake bass are slow I wouldn't judge by these conditions. Nice fish!! I haven't found 1 this year!

Thanks for the comment, I'm not basing my comments on how slow the fishing was, It's more on how the lake has changed, there used to be alot of lillys and logs and snags, all kinds of cover. Now it looks bare, dead and dirty. This lake is right next to the chehalis river. I have not been here since the flood of 90,96 and this last winter. The floods have really changed this lake alot. It used to real hard to fish, 1 half of the lake was nothing but lilly pads, now there is no sign of any pads, not even ones not yet surfaced. I will try again when it warms some.
