Got to knock in 2 hours. I was using a spinnerbait and then switched to a rattln rap with no luck but honestly wasn't trying as hard as I should've been. Saw somebody pull a nice triploid off the dock using spinner. So theres some activity going on.

Were you targetting bass? I've bass are in there, and all my attempts tp catch them were skunk outs. Come to think of it, I've never caught anything from there but my daughter did on her first cast the first time she fished there. Sorry about the skunk out.

Yeah, going for a bucket mouth. They're hard to get in here. My guess is its a small population but their seems to be some decent sized bass. I've seen one pulled out that was easily in the 5lb.bracket. The last bass I caught came from here, about 3 lbs last August.

i love this lake. spend some time catching trout which i always seem to get there. then take a different pole and fish for bass. if you are really getting skunked, theres always the choice to drop a piece of worm on a tiny hook below the dock and catch perch or sunfish. but yes, last year I was able to catch a couple of bass there and saw PLENTY of them cruising around the shallows in the sun, just schools of them.

Volk,

Thanks. So I won't give up on that lake.

Kevin, that was the same time last year since I've caught a bass to.
