my buddy and I loaded the boat around 530am and started down to the lake, but about half way to the lake both of are batteries fell out of the back of the truck right in the middle of the intersection, my buddy pulled over and i ran out to the batteries and all the other stuff in the middle of the road, my battery was totally ruined and my buddys still worked a little so we decided to keep are plans for the day and try it anyway, we trolled rapalas about half around the lake and the battery completely died, so we tried soaking some power bait in like 35 feet of water and that did nothing either, so we decided we better row in and call it a day. we did see a couple of trout surface and my fish finder was marking fish like crazy at 8 feet but when we got in 2-6 feet of water to take the boat out, it was still marking fish at 8 feet , it probably didn't help that my fish finder had fell out with the batteries in the middle of the road, so now ill have to buy a new fishfinder and a new battery. I did rate the lake a 3 because it was a nice day out on the water and we didn't stay out there long so there could of been a possibility of a few fish being caught.

I have a lowrance x-52 fishfinder/sounder that I'll sell you for $25.00. It came on my new boat, and I replaced it with an upgraded model. It works fine in fresh water, but not so well in salt water. If interested, shoot me an e-mail mwantola@comcast.net.
