1/5/2008 12:23:00 PMYes, we use braided line.......about 3 feet of 10-20 lb. mono leader.....they just didn't seem to be going aggressively after the bait....thus the hooks of those we landed were lightly hooked on the lip. Came of easily after netting them. Those we didn't hook........must not have been going after the bait to swallow, ie. we couldn't get the hook in. BTW, we use a trailing treble hook also.
