11/25/2007 10:52:00 PMYeah, it was a nice sized fish, but pretty bad looking, can't say I've ever seen a trout looking so dark and hooknosed, salmon yes, but not trout. I didn't want to take the time to set up for a pic since it was going back anyway. False spawn huh? Never heard of that - do they survive it or die?

11/25/2007 11:14:00 PMThey survive. Fall and early winter mimics spring weather patterns and naturally messes up their sense of season. They may or may not develop eggs, but I know that they don't lay them and they don't die.

bigbowkes - We probably have crossed paths and never knew it since we are neighbors. Yeah I like to jump around alot - but there are only two places I tend to go, Those I have been to before and those I haven't been to yet. I am usually the quiet guy off to the side (until you get to know me).

This lake gets too much pressure for it to be a good trout lake. It's decent right after the stocking, but what lake isn't?

12/4/2007 3:32:00 PMok sam i might just take you up on that advice but i'm also thinking about running down to shelton and fishing the roads for some awesome chum fishing. Did anyone else see that? It's even in snohomish too! I hope no one was affected to badly by the flood!!
