yea i always make at least 2 trips to battleground lake each year, my first trip this year i ened the trip c & r ing 13 12-14 inch rainbows in the matter of 2 hrs, i usually catch them using lures like buzz bombs kastmasters bluefox's and roosters out in the middle on my raft. i dont like bank fishing here often because of the amount of pressure it gets and after a few weeks the trout start to become keen to the old powerbait option unless they havent been caught yet, which is the case most of the time in this lake because of all the russians (no offense to any russian person) that bring 12 people and each catch their limits and keep all of them for a bbq or whatever they do with them.

Yes, yellow powerbait. If you get get skunked try black rooster tails from the dock. Very much sucess in the lake right now.
