Hey kids,
Hit the water at or about 10 a.m till 3pm. Got to park for free..was willing to pay the 10 bucks...no one at the booth.Free is always good for me. My son and I tried a little Musky hunting expedition. Weather had been bad all week my expectations were pretty low for getting into or seeing one today. Was just awesome to get on the lake PERIOD. Got the ol' juices pumpin again. Had been fishin since the Mayfield tourney. AHH the freezin cold breeze on the chops felt great. Not a bad day for fishin at all. Missed a nice smallie over by dike 2. No ski's to be seen all day. Got hit by a rain squall about 2:15...didn't' catch a fish in 4 or so hours but did catch 2 Awesome rainbows (see the photo) not fish ....Water temp was 58-60 degreezzzz . Good day to be alive..see yahs!!
