Hit the water about 4:00 and proceeded to our favorite spot. Had some small perch in a matter of minutes after starting to fish. We continued to work the area and picked up numerous small crappie and bluegill as well as a few small largemouth bass. All total, we probably boated 25 - 30 crappie in the 8 - 8 1/2" range, all just under legal size. The bluegill and perch were small as well. All fish were released this time.

We chose to arrive later in the day to enjoy the fishing without all the fun boaters and jet skis - it worked. After an hour or so on the water there were only two or three ski boats left and they were far enough away so we didn't have to contend with them.

All in all, I'd say a great day on the water. As much as I enjoy eating fresh fish, it sure was nice to unload the boat and not have a mess of fish to clean!

See my post in the forums about the WDFW proposed changes to the boat ramps and added fishing dock!
