Hit the river about 7:20 AM to shore fish at my usual spot on wawawai 3 miles north of Lower Granite Dam. The first bass of the day was caught on a rebel grasshopper by my wife. I setup my pole with some tube bait (pumpkinseed) and got some bites but no takers so I switched up to a crappie jig red head, yellow body and white feather tail and tipped with worm we got a ton of bites and several good sized bass. We switched my wife's rebel out and put on an all white crappie jig tipped with worm and caught several more bass with it. We didn't get any sunfish and I didn't expect to but the bass love that white color there and I was out of white bass sized plastics. We left about 11:00 it was a really nice experience, weather was beautiful.
