After the Walleye-fry at Potholes we headed here to search for some Muskies. On Sat. night when we arrived, we ran out to scout the lake (1st visit). We ran to the far west end of the lake, and tossing a 5ft suspending Rapala i had a follow on the 2nd cast. it was a beautiful looking 40ish Musky. that got us started late. about 20min. later I landed this LMB only fish in the boat! On Sunday morning we started at 5am, cast all morning and i was able to fight for 15seconds with the biggest LMB of the trip (he was a monster), he hit on my Musky Buck-tail spinner that i threw for about 7 hours. it was the only other fish we came close to landing there. I did see this 18+inch Musky at the boat launch that someone decided to fillet for dinner (illegally). We left and hit a couple of farming ponds where Mustangman caught another half dozen LMB!! Can't wait till next year!!!!!!!!!
