If you do not care what you are fishing for - take your lil lady to West Medical Lake for some Rainbows. Guaranteed to entertain her.
If you have a boat then from the launch go to the far end of the lake - by the Pump House's on the point. Park your boat just beyond casting distance and a bit towards the left of the point ( as you face it ).
USE THE FOLLOWING: Orange Berkley Power Bait - coated with either Mike's Shrimp Oil - or - (my favorite) Berkley's Bass Attractant. Use 1/2 oz slip weight & 36" leader with either #6 / #8 hooks. Of course the old standby of Worm & White Mini Marshmallows work as a decent back up.
Last time I took my wife - she couldn't bait the hook & get the line back out quick enough.
FYI: I take my youngest boy & wife there when they want to go fishing with me - because it is here that I guarantee that they are able to stay entertained and catch fish.
