i had a really fun day on round lake today. went fishing at first to catch some bluegill or crappie but about half way through i started seeing 12-14 inch bass follow my worms back to shore so i grabbed a regular crappie jig head and used worm instead of the jig body so it almost looked Texas rigged. i started jigging around the tree stump right next to the fish wheel and started catching smaller 8-12 inch bass but then towards the end of the day i got a huge bite that started to strip my drag (i was using a small micro-spin rod/reel combo for bluegill and crappie) i finally hooked into the thing and brought it into shore and it was a nice 17 inch 2# large mouth. all fish were quickly released after taking a picture and dehooking. sorry but i could not get the pictures off of my camera phone.
