On the lake @ 6am - hit some of the weed lines for Bass, got a couple small large mouth 9-10", the wife belly hooked a 10" perch - both using 4" Power Worm, weightless then w/ 1/8 oz to get through the milfoil - got a bunch more bites, but nothing produced - then went to other favorite spot, started banging away with Orange Power Bait ( w/ Bass Attractant ) in about 50 foot depth and about 10 feet off bottom - Trout Galore - the wife pulled in her first 12-1/2" Brown Trout and the biggest of the day - a 14-1/2" Rainbow (a fatty weighing nearly 1-1/2 pounds) - hate to admit it - but she out-fished me today, but no matter - she was having a blast. Great day on the lake for sure - left around 2pm as there began to be more of the recreational boaters on the lake - more interested in tubing & big waves than the boats sitting stationary near the shore...I guess because they live there courtesy does not apply - other than that - definitely a great day.
