I got to Patterson Lk in Thurston county about 2pm. Fishing from shore using a slip weight, size 6 egg hook and three feet of leader and orange and yellow power eggs. I casted straight out towards the speed marker which was about 40 yards out. The closer to the marker the better the fishing. I sat down on my chair and 2 secs later I had a bite. Whit in 45 minutes I had a limit average trout size was 12"-13" with one 18" hold over. While I was cleaning up to leave, I saw 5 boats come in with limits also, almost every boat had one - two large fish. I have fished this way for the last week and limits every time just not as fast.
