I began my fishing day at Badger Lake by picking up a kitchen garbage bag load of trash at the access site. High winds and cold early morning temperatures made for some uncomfortable fishing; prior to full sunup.

I did limit on rainbows, but kept only two as the other three were very small and YES, per the Fishing Regulations, I counted all fish caught against my limit. An obese jerk did well using a noodle rod and PowerBait, but his non-stop, negative comment mouth made for a rather BAD end to the morning outing.

You are a good sportsman - picking up garbage at the access site. I always carry a couple plastic grocery bags and do the same if it needs it. I don't really mind doing it but I do wish others would take care of their own litter so it wouldn't need to be done.

Thanks for the comment, Bass Tracker and thank you for being a good sportsman yourself with the volunteer litter pickup. Like you, I don't mind doing it, but I just can't understand the mindset of people who litter a fishing access site or public fishing dock?
