We fished Cranberry this morning from 9 to 11:30 am. The algae has cleared from the thick bloom of two weeks ago and there was only one other boat on the lake. We trolled as usual and hooked 3 fish that all escaped the net. We used 000 dodgers (silver) followed by 4 feet of leader (3bl test) and a green dicknite spoon. This kills em every time at this lake until they become less active which I think is the case as we are days from June. Other than that, it was very slow fishing. I believe the fish have gone deeper and maybe power bait on the bottom is a better bet. While on the lake we watched a couple of trout on the surface splashing around, followed by a bald eagle swooping in for the grab. The bird missed but it was amazing to watch up close. This happened about 75 feet from our boat. Good luck.
