At the Pump House @ 8:30am, weather sort of breezy, about 55 deg., slight wind to SE, occasional drizzle. Few people on the lake in boats, began with typical Worm & Marshmallow (for the wife as that is what she likes to use) - Used Orange/Glitter Berkley Power Bait w/ Trout Gravy, 1/2oz slip weight, 36" leader #8 gold trout hook - fished for 3 hours, got quite a few bites, casted towards known weed bed to left of point, C&R'd (2) smaller (about 8-9") rainbows - had to keep gut-hooked (1) 12" rainbow. Seems to be typical size right now when fishing off shore - larger ones out deeper I suspect.
Went to Public Launch area shortly after, no wind, a couple bites, no takers - did see a couple of 12" or so being caught by others. Wife had no luck with the worm & marshmallow today.
