The BBs of BL invited my son and his girlfriend to go fishing with us at Fishtrap Lake!

May as well cut to the chase: 3 of the 4 participants limited-out. About the other participant: I offer no excuses, other than the dog ate my homework; uhhh... I ran out of gas... okay, okay... I didn't make limit. But I enjoyed the outing, watching my son fish and learning that his girlfriend could indeed fish like someone who knew her way around a fishing creel.

Since it was a big deal to get THREE fishing poles into the water at once from the boat, I elected to watch until someone limited-out. By the time that had happened, the fish were all pooped out from the excitement the other BB of BL gave them (and presto! I have my excuse for not limiting-out. The Same to You.)

The funniest incident involved: someone had caught a trout that was easily The Biggest Fish of the Day (16" trout) BUT, as she went to slip it into the fish basket, it lurched and ker-plunk! Back into the lake it went. Oh well. She DID get credited for catching the fish, and by some act, decided to catch-and-release by proxy.
