Fished Pine Lake from 1 to 3 pm with good success. I ended up with five trout between 8 - 10." Light green power bait cast far out was the trick. Since the fish swallowed the PB so far down, I ended up having to keep them. Overall, nice day, nice people, and I'll be back soon.

According to state regulations you must keep all fish caught using bait.
Powerbait and worms=No catch and release.

gcbcaddis1, that is incorrect. You MAY release trout caught using bait, but that trout counts as part of your daily trout limit. Obviously, if the trout is smaller than the size limitation, you have to release it (on rivers). Please reference page 33 of your 2007 Sport Regs pamphlet:

"In lakes, ponds, and reservoirs: No min. size. Daily limit 5. When fi shing with bait, all TROUT (except STEELHEAD) equal to or greater than the minimum size are counted as part of the daily limit whether kept or released."

There's been a good discussion on this in the Forum (http://www.washingtonlakes.com/Forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=198)
