My girlfriend and I went out to Terrell again, this time in search of bass. When we arrived there was a competition finishing up for the day and I saw many 5# + bass being weighed, quite the site. We fished starting in the NE corner of the lake using spinnerbaits and crankbaits with no takers, we switched to soft plastics and immediately caught a few small fish. My girlfriend managed one larger one at about 4# which was great (one of her first ever bass fishing experiences). All in all, we ended up w/ 4 bass, and a few little bluegills. The wind was pretty swift and it made it hard to control my small 12' boat, but we managed. The fish seem to be moving into the reeds, but the majority of them are still off the reeds in adjacent weed beds in slightly deeper waters. Tight lines.
