First time I ever went to this lake my fiance brought me. We went out there at about 10:30-11 am and went to this little cove out of the wind off to the right from the boat launch. He had a copper spinner and I had a silver spinner, but we switched lures 1/2 way and he caught a fish on each one. We also had a bobber and (orange) powerbait sitting off the boat. He caught a perch on his second cast. He got a few bites but was trying to let me reel them in and lost the fish. I didn't get a bite all day, but I don't know what i'm doing. The powerbait got stolen a few times but no real bites. Ended up catching 3 perch all day, but we were there for trout so we tossed them back. Plus they were kinda small. Last one he caught was the best!! It was the smallest but put up the biggest fight. See the pic!! Caught him in the side not in the mouth??
