Hey bass guys .. I went to pine lake and had a blast . the lake was a little crowded but still plenty water too fish. I told myself that since this lake was small that the water temp would increase faster, which means time to hit spawning flats . i fished in a area that was was bout 5-10 deep near deep drop offs , hit docks with grass near them . first fish was a 4lb smallmouth (pretty & healthy) she had eggs in her . so that set may pattern ...three cast last hook another smally that was sitting in 2 feet of water right up on the bank near grass . that was the last one of the day . but i was surprised that no LM Bass was feeding . i fished out of my new "yellow & black pontoon " . Love this raft , lots of guys out in there float tube but i enjoyed the pontoon better .. i will be back here over the next few weeks , water temp need to come up a lil more . hey guys remember that those rocks up near shore heats that water up faster on sunny days so keep that in mind . i love too fish for bass and pine lake is now on my list as a good spot , ooops did i forget to tell you what i was using ? lets just say that plastic is the way to go sometimes ... happy hooking !!
