There is still some snow at the boat launch and the gate isn't open yet. There is access to launch a boat from the beach but two weeks ago I witnessed a boat having lots of trouble loading his boat. The beach drops off slowly and his vehicle was sinking in the sand.

Once you figure out the secrets of this lake, there are large fish to be had, but there is a two fish limit unless fishing for kokes. It does get windy and on many occassions I've turned around and gone to another lake due to the wind.

I did some reading up on this lake and they have stocked coho and sockeye. However, don't expect a harvest any time soon. From what I read the sockeye may never grow to a large enough population to open up the lake to sockeye fishing although I hope they are successful.
