Thought I already posted but guess not. Fished this Lake for about 2 hours with 2 decent perch to show for it. Fought wind, rain and temperature with not much to show for it.
Came ashore to get out of wind for a while and I saw what I thought was a septic truck getting ready to dump sewage into the lake. Actually, it was the state dumping approximately 500 Triploids into the Lake. Sat there with my waders with 14-16 inch Triploids swimming at my feet. Reached into boat and grabbed first set up I had which was nothing but a plain 1/8 lead head jig. Put a piece of worm on there and caught my limit of big fat Triploids and NO I DID NOT FEEL GUILTY. I would assume it wouldn't have mattered what you were using but another guy was right there with me and not catching any and he was using Power Bait. That was too easy and going to Roesigner tomorrow. Never watched a state stock a lake before, kind of neat. Triploids for supper.
Good fishing everyone. Joe
