Well If I'm not mistaken, I think Lake Washington is having a comeback. Took the bayliner out for an afternoon, just to see if any Cutt's would hit. Well, we did manage to hit a nice Cutt in about 70' of water. This was the trip of a lifetime just for a couple of reasons. First off, catching the Cutthroat is not the reason why I'm excited. It's the Sockeye, and the Coho. The Smolt's are everywhere. Little silvery bodies school in 10' of water. I swear, it's like there is bait balls out in the ocean in lake Washington. I'm predicting that this will be the best sockeye fishery on the whole west coast, for a lake. It's going to be like the Copper River Socks. This summer of 07' will hopefully be the best summer sockeye season yet. My fishfinder is just flooded with these little guys in the schools. There not minnows, there smolts. All the action came from south tip Mercer, and north of Seward Park area. Hopefully August will be all Sockeye, instead of just one week like the past.- Good luck for any Trout Fisherman!-Ethan
