My father, brother-in-law, and I hit Lake Alice in our float tubes on Saturday. We fished from about 12:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. Just after we hit the water, the first fish was caught. It was about an 8" planter Rainbow. Fish were rising everywhere you looked. All three of us were using various spinners. Throughout the course of the day, I caught and released 16, my brother-in-law had 15, and dad had 13. The largest was about 18". For the most part, all appeared to be recently planted.
While we could have kept a few for the dinner plate, all fish were cleanly released and swam away to grow for the next person to catch. Great day on the water, and I would recommend this lake to anyone. Only negative was that there was quite a bit of trash lying around the WDFW access point, and there did not appear to be a garbage can in sight.
