Thank God for cooler weather and water...finally! 12 fish, 4 bows 20-22" and 8 browns 16-19" with another half dozen lost while fishing various nymphs and streamers. Fish were deep and would take anything aggressively stripped to the surface. Most were caught on a peacock carey which was reduced a half-hackled blob yet continued to draw strikes. Other effective patterns were leeches, black careys, black doc spratleys, buggers and stillwater nymphs. I fished from 10:30 to 2:30. Remember, folks, Medical is a restrictive regs lake, ie no bait, single barbless hook flies and artificial lures only, and the city of Medical Lake prohibits motors of all types, as can be verified by the guys who received a citation yesterday!!! I guess the MLPD finally got tired of issuing warnings!
