Any spots for bank fishing on the Klickitat?

Post by Landlocked » Mon Apr 06, 2009 6:02 pm

I'd like to do some bank fishing near the mouth of the Klickitat River for Salmon/Steelhead. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on where I might find decent river access.

Also, what kind of bait should I use? Spinner? Shrimp? Or something else completely different?

Thanks in advance!

The Klickitat man I miss that system deep and from the heart.

Tracy Zoller ( 509-369-2366) a mid 40's living legend I am proud to have fish side by side and did not even know each other!

I will post a photo show I did for him if I can!

As far as the mouth big Egg want 40lbers= Tracy!!!!:-$

Last 2 Pics are mine and metalheads for others on the Klick in my old Blue 17ft Willie we murdered them Tracy still does in unreal numbers and you want a Monster King on the Fly or Steelhead he will get it done!

Looks like that river can be productive! Awesome pics! Makes my mouth water. Any idea when the fish should be showing up there? I heard someone today that said the salmon were still down near Bonneville dam.
