Jens,..I use Power Pro #20 on my Spincaster and #30 on my Baitcaster,..works wonders especially when you're fishing in the salad,..haven't lost a lure on the Braid yet and the diameter on the Braid I believe is similar to #6,..have 2 check though,..either way,..definately go with Braid!

no its a strike king king shad, or abt shad ripbait. The king-kong is a bigger jointed bait by strike king.

lol so its a flaw - what do we win!?

ha

anyways i would suggest changing out those hooks. one quality fish, and those things are toast. consider it a lesson you wouldnt want to learn.

Those hooks on it now are fine I changed the original ones to red GK,..have caught alot of 4 LB Buckets so far,..now a 7-8 LB I dont know but I'm sure they'll do fine,..anyways the flaw was I missed my 1st guide on my pole and didn't notice till I landed the Bass.

HA nice man would've never seen that if you didnt say so.

I would seriously consider changing out the hooks - and the splits too. Esp if you intend on catching that 7-8lb+ fish. Nothing less than owners IMO! GK are good too but some of their hooks i find too fine-wired.
