Want to get off the bank and on the water.. check this out...

Post by Gringo Pescador » Sun Aug 30, 2009 9:22 pm

Tired of being tied to the bank? Want to get out on the water but not in it?
Then the original Gringo Mean Green Fishing Machine is just the thing for you!
This is a GREAT 1 man fishing outfit - though two can fit comfortably also!

It all starts with the Sportspal S-12 Ultralight Aluminum Canoe.
This is a 12', wide body, double end canoe (points at both ends).
It sports two seats (both removeable), side motor mount, oar locks and paddles.
It is made with ultra-light aircraft aluminum and 1" foam. You can literaly fill it with water and it will not sink!
With the wide body and foam side sponsons you can actually stand up to cast in it!
All that and the thing weighs less than 50 Pounds!
Check em out here: http://www.castlecraft.com/sportspal_double-end.htm

Then add the Minkota Endura 30 trolling motor and marine battery
http://www.minnkotamotors.com/products/ ... ndura.aspx
I've wired em up so they are literally plug and play.
I've trolled for up to 12 hours on this setup with no lack of power!

And how about the Cuda 160 fish finder http://www.eaglenav.com/en/Products/Fis ... /CUDA-168/
Also custom wired!

 BUT WAIT - THERE'S MORE!!

Cannon minitroll downrigger - http://www.cannondownriggers.com/produc ... =minitroll
Anchor setup
Folding canoe seat (like this one) - http://www.rei.com/product/754619
Custom pole holder/gear storage (OK, this one is just a customized milk crate, but it works great!)

New this setup is over $1200.00 I'm unloading it for 1/2 that. That's right folks, $600 bucks and you are on the water!

If you are plannig to throw it in the back of your pickup (I hauled it in the back of my Dodge Dakota with no problems) I will even throw in the red T-shirt I used as a flag!

NOTES:
I am only offering this on WL.com - if no takers in a month or so, I will add $100 to the selling price and put it up an CL.
I WILL sell the canoe without all the extras (motor, fish finder, downrigger, etc.) If that is all you want we can negotiate a fair price.
I WILL NOT sell the other stuff unless you buy the whole package (I'd rather keep em to use on future toys).
Price for the whole package is FIRM.

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

I tend to "customize" (read - tinker with) pretty much all of my toys. The only reason I am really getting rid of it is that I haven't used it since I sold my Dakota, I can use the extra room in my garage and the extra $$ in my FUN FUND!

Sorry - the hat doesn't go with - when you got no hair, and burn as easy as I do, you tend to have a collection of hats laying around!:viking:

Wow, that's a bummer. I just now came across this one and I'll tell you what I would've been all over it! That was a sweet deal. I'd love to have a boat like that. It'd fit perfect on top of my truck.
When times get tough, just keep on fishin'!!!
