Looking for an Outboard Repair shop, Snohomish County

Post by SnohoBassGuy » Wed Feb 17, 2010 11:30 am

This is a repost, now that I have my tax return and can finally afford to fix my Merc. So, I have a 2000 Mercury 9.9 that just wont run right, any one know of a good shop around Everett or the Snohomish County? I dont want to get scammed and pay way more than I should. I paid $600 for the motor, and I dont plan on paying more than that to repair the engine.

Please help.

I had good luck with "Pearcy's Lynnwood Marine". I own a 50 HP Merc on the back of a bass boat, they did an awesome job with my waterpump and didn't try to sell me anything extra or anything like that. I was concernd about my boat being locked in their gated area so they locked it up within the shop! Reasonable and fair, I will use them in the future.

I've had good service at Performance Marine in Everett. Knowledgable staff and fair prices.

Three Rivers ruined my buddies boat and refused to discuss their neglegence. First trip to the water the OB went south 30ft from the dock. I would not have them touch anything I own.

Check out Boat Country in Everett. Their prices are WAY better than 3 rivers however they are not always the fastest. Good shop that i trust.

The five phases of a fisherman:
1) I want to catch one.
2) I want to catch a limit.
3) I want to catch a really big one.
4) I want to catch them the way I want to catch them.
5) I want to help others catch them.
