The way the economy is going, we all may be on food stamps.:-({|= Then the government will have to borrow more from China to pay for the food stamps:cheers:

No....I have a lame sense of humor.
Fire Department pays me well. Not rich though.
Well, that's nothing to joke around about...some people really are on food stamps, and with our horrible economy it looks like some more might be added to that list...prices at the grocery store have jumped end over end...#-o
Maybe not so funny.
But I believe the system is seriously abused. I pay taxes every year and then have to go to emergency calls and see total neglact of what the system had intended to help others. Instead some of these people just don't work do to laziness. That is total abuse.

he only trusts pay pal online so that'd be my only way to pay

the update sounds like WL.com will be the myspace of fishing - just alot safer.

I'm almost positive that it will be pay-pal. I think that you can mail in checks also.

It will be PayPal at first. If things go well we will switch to our own credit card processing system. Credit cards are taken at the Paypal site, not ours, so the session will be encrypted... to worries. We wouldn't take CC info without it being secure.

*FYI* - That list of new site upgrades that Marc posted is what we would LIKE to have available when we launch... we'll see. I've been putting in 18 hour days for a few months now and things are really taking shape, but at some point we'll have to evaluate what we have done and what is left and make a launch date based on that. It may not include everything on that list at first.

I think that I can speak for everyone. We greatly appreciate the hard work that you are putting into this, Aaron. Working with you on the beta testing, I can clearly see that you have a monumental task on your hands. We are very fortunate to have you "behind the curtain":thumright

I'll quit getting donuts for a few weeks and I'll save enough for my dues. This high finance is getting easier as I keep spending it.

Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.

The same functions of this site will still be free, but there will be more perks to being a paying members. Holding instant chats, having a photo gallery and blog I believe are all advantages of the site when you pay more, but the traditional functions that you see now are still going to be available when the site upgrade comes...The forums and the reports are going no where for those that do not pay...
Don't chase reports...Be the report others chase....

Evrything you have access to now will STILL be available for free. There will be three levels:

Guest - non-member, no charge, basic site function

Member - no charge, current member functions (forum, comments, videos, advanced report information)

Premium - $17.99/yr or less for two years, all the free stuff PLUS all the cool new stuff we are working on.

AND NOT TO OVERLOOK - THE NEW SITE DESIGN IS A DEFINATE IMPROVEMENT AND MORE EASY TO USE. EVERYONE WILL BENEFIT FROM THAT.
