Weather has been great over here, sunny, no rain, sunny, warm, not too many clouds or wind, some sprinkles, sunny. Did I mention sunny? If I wasn't so lazy I'd go fishing. [unsure]

I wish it was that way on the East side! We go from 50 and sunny to 35 and snow. Ten day forecast looks promising though. Lots of mid-40's and into low 50's, some sunny days thrown in. I would even welcome some rain, as it would facilitate the melt! So eager to get on the lake and catch a muskie. Granted, most of my partners will not fish with me during the spring because the bite is so slow. BUT, I NEED to get out of the house and wet a few lines! If I catch a fish along the way even better!

My brother hates the snow so much now that he spent the winter in Calif. When he got back to Spokane the other day he said it was starting to/was snowing a little as he parked. He wants to move to Calif. he's 55 or so.

I moved here about 12 years ago and have been pretty happy with the overall climate. Way warmer winters and nicer summers than where I grew up in Wisconsin. I remember a winter where we had about a two week span where the high temp for the day didn't rise above -20 degrees F! Yes, 20 below zero!!!! THAT, my friends is cold. Gotta love the Midwest! Only the likes of Alaska rival that for our good ole' USA....

Yup, I know about those winters, I was born and lived for awhile in Mi. Back then it was fun. And back thru the '80s I spent many a day and winter dog sledding. Image

Exactly when I grew up there! I loved the winters there, THEN! Would freeze my butt off now. Always looked forward to a snow day off of school!

Yeah. I had to clear off an inch or two of sleet on my car. Hopefully it clears up by the weekend.

I spent some time in the midwest. once.

Yep, but we still have ice. Newman is the first one of our two muskie lakes local that opens, so I posted a question on a separate post to see if it has opened. If it has, I will be there!!!!!

Yea, right? Hell, they used to shut school down when we would get like a foot of snow. :-)

It continues! Enough snow out here today to make you think we are still in winter....

We garnered about two inches here in Waterville. Very wet but still enough to fire up the snow blower.

Rain this morning here, so you'll get more snow today and tonight, maybe tomorrow morning. Then sun for the rest of the weekend.

Yep, that's what I heard. I was hoping we'd get some lower temps to harden up the ice around here. I scored a new to me power auger about a month ago and have had to watch her setting in the shop unused this season.
