yep, march and april is pretty much wild fish only time of the year, with a few exceptions like the cowlitz. I would sa9 out of 10 fish are wild right now in the rivers im fishing

Wow, that's a small ratio for keepers. What rivers do you typically fish on a regular basis? Assuming that you're from the Northern part of Washington.

For steel, i fish the cowlitz, skookumchuck this time of year. Cascade river on the upper skagit in dec and jan was really good i caught 80+ fish in there this year. And now march and april its all vedder in canada. Caught this PIG Hen on the vedder last cast last night. Beauty!

Last one?? How come theyre still here for a month or so, keep slayin!

And yea, with how much ive fish and all that i know, even tho im goin to college for a degree and what not, chances are that ill be a guide no matter what, cant stop fishing. I hear the "you should be a guide" thing all the time Lol. If the money was a little better id drop out of college right now. Ive caught almost 200 steelhead since december bank fishin. Lol

Pursue your dreams and what you love to do! Don't let anyone stop you! 200 Steelhead on your hook on the bank is not an easy task for someone to say they've done...lol Just saying...

LOl perfect name too thats prob not taken and kinda cool!!

So i killed some more chrome also...
Out of class at 3pm, on river at 4, one wild by 415 and killed hatch at 445. DONE ( one fish limit on vedder)

MONSTERS MONSTERS MONSTERS Caught a 15lb Hen and a 17lb Buck on the Vedder today both wild Amazing steelhead. 8-[

I videotaped the 17lber and the video is 13 minutes long and I didn't start it til a minute or so in. It was the most intense steelhead fight ever. If anyone but FF had hooked that fish they would have lost it. soooooo crazy. beastly fish

i had to sit down after. Double thumbing it in super fast rapids and pulling as hard as my arms are capable of when it gives me line. SO insane.
