I got this one, Issaquah fish hatchery! I checked their web cam a few times this last sept/oct to see if some salmon had moved into the rivers yet..... LOL I love the easy ones! Oh, Issaquah Creek!
And.Thanks for the info on Spokane/Cheney Fish Lake. I used to make an annual trip out to Williams, probably passed Fish Lk on a trip from Spokane to Williams, I hate it when F&G screw up a good thing.... Sometimes they do get it right though, Williams(Spokane) is an awesome trout fishery... They are trying their best with Hatch and the other Williams by Colville for trout winter fishery..... should be good this year! that looks like a huge pumpkinseed Marc, too bad Fish isn't filled with biguns at least..

Can you drive to it or is access by hiking only? Looks like it's above 3000' elevation.

Isabell,,, but I gotta be honest and tell ya how I figured it out, I figured a high mountain Lake, saw a posting of photos of alpine lakes here at wa-lks.com and went to brouse them,,, LOL found your photo! I was surprised! Saturday, March 29, 2008 3:08:35 PM you posted that almost 3 years ago! AWESOME! Reminded me of some of the lakes I had been at in the 70s and 80s, Janice, Glasses, Lichtenwasser, Mowich, Malachite, Heart, little Heart, alpine lakes....... so many I can't recall....used to backpack a bit.

Here's one for the NE corner of the state. Just tried to increase the size, pixels didn't cooperate. The Gazeteer shows that it holds cutthroat. Here's a second lake just to keep it moving along, guess either one and the baton is yours!

Yeah that is the reason I said it would be easy cause I know I have posted that photo before. It was a hard one though cause it is an obscure lake.MarkFromSea wrote:Isabell,,, but I gotta be honest and tell ya how I figured it out, I figured a high mountain Lake, saw a posting of photos of alpine lakes here at wa-lks.com and went to brouse them,,, LOL found your photo! LOL Mallard, obscure? The Gazeteer doesn't show the trail! I'd probably find it on a forest service map. I hope to do some backpacking this summer, it's been a while since I've back packed more than 3-4 miles in a day........

Top lake is Yocum. Marc posted it a week or so ago and I guessed it then.

Cheating is only cheating ifin you get caught. LOL.....
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

I didn't know about it already being posted, baton is yours Lotech! Definately not cheating. 2nd lake is Fish Lake near Lake Wenatchee, 9" perch was the norm last Sunday!Lotech Joe wrote:Top lake is Yocum. Marc posted it a week or so ago and I guessed it then.

I'm gonna say Amber, based on early opener, and Spokane County. Bonus, the fisher is floatin instead of boatin, no internal combustion engines allowed on Amber. The trees look similar to the ones around Lake Williams.
