OK so once again we fall victim to not being able to tell time. I was going to let Joe slide when he jumped in and posted 4 hours early. Now silly me thinks it's going to be another 24 hours.

So what is the rule? is it 24, is it 23, is it 18 or 12????? Just wondering, trying to play by the rules.......

Wow. 4 hours early. My bad. Won't happen again.

yep, can't git er dun! [confused]
I did write in here for someone else to go ahead and post the next picture so we wouldn't have to wait 24 hours. I just stumbled onto this guessing game, didn't know the rules. Isn't the point to have fun till we can get out there and fish? Everyone have a great day!

Pilchuck Crick N. of Arlington, has steelhead and silvers, it is really small, access is very limited on the tree farm portion.

upper part of the Stillaguamish might have a spot that looks like that, by the time it gets to Oso though, it's pretty wide from blowing out........ LOL north or south forks of the stilly might be small enough...... if I get it correct, someone else just go ahead and post, my pictures are sitting between my ears and unavailable to the public. LOL

is it a part of/tributary to the Skagit? I'm thinking we might need to narrow it down a bit just to keep it moving along. I haven't fished many rivers, so just pulling names out of my pocket. Pilchuck creek, n of Arlington was close. it's not part of the stilly river system. so, guessing north of lk Cavanaugh... =Skagit or Skagit tributary?

Might I make a suggestion here. Post pictures of rivers that have some recognizable landmarks, either a bridge, dam, road, waterfall, boat launch or town. There are literally thousands of miles of rivers in this state. Many have remote areas that not many people see. If you are going to post a photo of a river like the one above, give some clues like tributaries, drainage system, etc. People on the east side of the state may have never heard or seen some of the rivers on the west side. There are hundreds of rivers and streams west of the cascades. Let's not keep people pulling rivers out of a hat until the right one comes up.

You make this quite confusing. You said Pilchuck Creek is the closest but it is not a Snono trib. Mabey because it has Pilchuck in the name? Are you refering to a "Snohomish River" tributary or a "Snohomish System" tributary?

Depending on what you are saying I am gonna say it is the Pilchuck RIVER or the Tolt River.

Pretty sure you got it Mallard, and it's the Pilchuck.
