Anyone have horses, or cattle? Need to get rid of Manure compost? I have a pickup and a pitchfork.

My neighbor does. The stuff left over from my horse is over 12 years old, and I might not even be able to find it anymore. lol

Horse is a bit hot, I might be able to fix you up with some fine goat. Horse should really be added in the fall.

Horse manure composts in a month if treated correctly and out of chicken, steer, rabbit or horse, horse grew the vegetables the best for me.
I want to get some, too

I never do chicken, just too hot. I've had ready supply of all of them + goats for many years. Rabbit has been by far the best for me. We have goat now so that's what I use.

If it has the time to compost even chicken isn't hot. One minus about horse manure is that the weeds that they might eat and then poop out the seeds.

Heck goats eat everything. Can you imagine the seeds?
But I think goats digest stuff much better than horse.

I ve used horse directly from the racetrack. A horses digestive tract works very fast. Cattle have many stomachs and comes out hot. Goat is good but it also has more then one stomach. Chicken stinks too high heaven in a warm summer. I like horse or rabbit. It takes too many rabbits to produce enough.
I will take what there is to be had.I prefer the Renton ,Kent , Bellevue, Redmond or Auburn areas.

I'm in Maple Valley, very easy to get to from Hiway 18 from I-90, or 169 from Renton.

That's great. That's near another farm I go. Does he mind me coming out? I want to wait till after this next big rain. Hauling wet manure is heck. It adds a lot of weight .

Yup, she says it's fine. I told her probably this weekend or next week sometime. Let me know what day, I'll talk to them, and we'll go from there.

Picky is good sometimes, she understood. She says there is nothing in the manure other than sawdust, and some straw.
